Ginette NY

Frederique Dessemonde, designer of Ginette, is originally from Marseilles, France, where she studied Art History at La Sorbonne. Inspired at an early age by the architecture of Le Corbusier, Frederique painted and worked as an Interior Designer, recycling old furniture. An opportunity to work with fellow French designer Joelle Klein brought her to NYC, where she later worked alongside Paige Novick. Frederique then decided to create her own line of clothing and accessories using vintage found objects. She currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter, and has her own boutique in Manhattan.
